I really can appreciate the thought that was put into this story, It has a continuous flow, and something going on on every page.The writing is really good as well, and I have to say, I really want to know where this story is going.
I can't say I am too fond of the "love em and leave em" situations that take place throughout the book. And the love aspect seems a bit one sided. I find myself feeling sorry for Amandine after each encounter. But, it's like I always say, She made her bed... He doesn't have to lay in it. LOL!
Anyway, I am moving into book 2 now, and maybe things will change. But I won't hold my breath.
I wold recommend this emotional roller-coaster, for sure.

I love a free book. This time, I liked the steamy scenes. It was too short to really like the characters. Although Mr. Diamonds started to grow on me, I thought calling Amande "my love" so early on was a bit too much.
The heroine overwhelming sexual desires seem to control her senses. Her desires rule her behaviour so when the object of her fantasies is around her actions become imbecilic. The story was a bit short it took a while to develop and to becomes interesting. The hero appears to be selfish and self-centered . I did not like how the story ended, it was somewhat cold and heartless.
This was a good read. The author left me feeling very curious about Gabrielle Diamonds. Not sure what's going on with him. He is a bit of a mystery. Of course I love the chemistry between he and Amandine.
Can't wait to read the next book to see how this hit it and quit it love affair will turn out. Sexy, sexy, sexy!!!
I really enjoyed this series as a while, but the prices are RIDICULOUS for every installment after this initial one. As much as I wanted to know the end to this series, I could not stomach paying $2.99 PER VOLUME for just 50 pages or so of content per book. If the price is not a factor to you, then definitely give these books a shot. They are fun to read, & a nice way to get away from the craziness of everyday life.
Confuses lust with love and sex for romance. There is nothing romantic in this book. Besides a few insecurities in the lead character, there's nothing likable about any of the people in this novella. While the writing style is adequate, the flow is often choppy and almost every scene is stark in desperate need of being fleshed out.
This was a disappointing book. After reading the synopsis I thought it looked like a typical romance novel boilerplate. It's not.
Both the dialog and the actions of the main characters are confusing and disjointed. I didn't like either one of them, either. Hot sex without a real reason is just fine, but this isn't even up to that.
The Billionaire's Desire, Volume 1 is the start of another series. Gabriel Diamonds is demanding, controlling and not a likeable billionaire. Amandine the young woman that catches his interest is immature, smart and equally unlikeable. The sex scenes are pretty vanilla, so not too exciting. Some of the dialog is witty and saves the story. It is set in France with lots of information about wine, art and scenery but not much emotion to hold the reader's interest. It has possibilities for future episodes...
